Ask Boehner: Low-Income Seniors Can File Tax Returns Until Oct. 15 for a Rebate Check

Senior citizens and others who are not normally required to file tax returns have until Oct. 15 to send in their paperwork to get a rebate check. When we wrote this legislation, we wanted to make it easy for taxpayers and others to receive their rebate check. After all, our purpose was to provide a boost for our economy and an incentive for small businesses to expand and create jobs.
